How it works

A clear path from learner to candidate

Each stage leaves you with something useful: a decision, a project, a stronger profile, better answers, or a smarter application.

Readiness before referrals

Course completion alone is not the finish line. Project quality, assessments, profile completeness, and interview readiness help determine when you are ready for relevant opportunities.

  1. STEP 01

    Set your target

Choose realistic roles and identify the gaps between your current profile and the role.

  2. STEP 02

    Build proof

Complete the required learning, assessments, and portfolio projects for your track.

  3. STEP 03

    Polish your profile

Refine your résumé, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, and introduction with feedback.

  4. STEP 04

    Practise the room

Use mocks and mentor feedback to improve technical answers and communication.

  5. STEP 05

    Apply with intent

Track suitable roles, referrals, follow-ups, and lessons from every interview.

FAQs

Straight answers about placement support

Know what the support includes, when it begins, and what you remain responsible for.

Is placement support included with every course?

Placement assistance is included with eligible career tracks. The exact support, eligibility criteria, and duration can vary by course or plan, so check the course page or speak with a counsellor before enrolling.

Does Universal CodeBox guarantee a job?

No. We provide preparation, feedback, job-search guidance, and access to relevant opportunities, but hiring decisions belong to employers. Results depend on your skills, completed work, participation, interview performance, location, and market conditions.

When does placement preparation begin?

Career readiness starts during the course through projects, assessments, GitHub work, and communication practice. Focused profile reviews, mocks, and opportunity support begin once you reach the readiness milestones for your track.

What happens in a mock interview?

A mock follows the format of your target role and may cover concepts, coding, project discussion, problem-solving, HR, or behavioural questions. You receive specific feedback and a practice plan for the next attempt.

Do you help students from non-tech backgrounds?

Yes. Counsellors and mentors help career switchers choose realistic entry roles, build technical proof, explain transferable experience, and prepare a clear transition story.

How do hiring-partner referrals work?

When a relevant opening is available, eligible learners whose skills and profiles match the role may be referred or invited to a hiring drive. A referral creates an opportunity to be considered; it does not guarantee an interview or offer.
